Biography
As a producer and composer, Theade has developed his own unique sound of ‘emotional’ and ‘Modern Classical’ music for film and picture. Theade started his musical career in 2000 DJing. This time was spent producing and as a DJ for progressive Drum and Bass and Broken Beat.
Having grounded himself firmly in DJing he began taking his own music production in a variety of new directions, fusing Classical with the beats that he was previously DJing.
Theade notes: “The result is that each DJ was set is composed rather like a symphony, mixing between tracks is often unnoticed, resulting in an unending symphonic journey from start to finish.” This forward-thinking style of Djing has allowed Theade to develop a unique and grounded position at the intersection of the DJ and film scores. The musical style will delight anyone that is interested in ambient breaks, post-classical, and piano music.
The theme in Theade’s music is about often missed moments in life, from themes in sadness or joy. I translate what I see into audio using elements from the environment around me, taking sounds from nature or everyday objects. I use picture when create a sound so my music always compliments the visual.

Hakanson
This post rock track is made for the big screen. Drawing on wide influences this experimental soundscape invokes huge emotion in the listener. A simple yearning piano solo adds some immediate clarity to the other-worldly ambience created by Theade. However this is soon disguised as the texture grows and morphs from its original form. As the music progresses the ethereal character evolves, becoming a main part of this piece’s plot. As it swells forward in constant waves, the sound washes over the listener creating a aural sensation based in bliss.

This experimental soundscape begins with the staccato notes of a solo piano, set against a background of rural sound glitches, such as the sounds of walking on stones and breaking of sticks.
